Ride out on Thunder

I’ve been eagerly waiting for an opportunity to ride her, my bike named “Thunder”, named recently. Funny story, I was at my daughters wedding, shortly after the ceremony everyone was gathering in the church grounds. In my typical style, I needed a wee! So hopped on my bike and went to the pub up the road. On returning I was told by Pete that on starting my bike up! The congregation all looked up thinking it was thunder! Hence the name was born..

Great ride out today, went to a place where quite a few bikers gather. Passed some time talking to a few nice bunch of bikers. One riding a beautiful BKing, loads of Power!! Coffee, a look at the bikes then it was time to make tracks. Down through Delamere through the twisting country roads eventually descending in the the cute village called Frodsham located in the beautiful county of Cheshire UK 🇬🇧.

We crawled through the village passing the Bears Paw, the place we’re kickstarting the “Bikers Hangout Gathering” on the Sunday 23rd June 2pm. It’s been a few years since our last, so we’re looking forward to a good turnout and being able to role it over the following months.

So, just looked at the weather forecast for tomorrow and it’s looking like I’ll be throwing my leg over “Thunder” and ripping up some miles! Nothing better!!
