Potted History; “Phoenix Riders” rose from the ashes of a very good club the “127 MCC” and tribute is paid here to the original founders whose ethos of all bikes, all riders, all riding abilities in the pursuit of biking nirvana brought us together and is still embedded now.
Our club organisation is elected and run by the membership to a constitutional framework.
The purposes of the club are to promote members enjoyment of owning and riding motor cycles through organised meetings, events, ride-outs and social functions.
All prospective members are asked to read the constitution and the website protocols, by entering your details you agree to be bound by these rules.
Club meetings are held every Thursday evening from 6.00pm to 10.00pm and Sunday mornings at Porky’s Diner on the A127 just past Basildon (Sat Nav. SS12 9HZ or Google *51.590633, 0.519211) Southend bound. Breakfast normally from (8.00am), Rideouts departure (Winter 10.15am, Summer 9.00am). Or start times by arrangement for the longer rides.
New applicants will be known as Juniors, must complete a membership application form in person and be vetted for approval, before full acceptance into the club. Registration details must be genuine and will be subject to checking.
A membership fee of £15.00 per year per person is payable on joining/renewal and runs from 1st January to December 31st to coincide with BMF club affiliation membership. A free T-shirt will be issued from stock or within 1month for sizes not held. Members joining during the year will pay a minimum £9.50 (free T-shirt & BMF membership) plus 50p for each month unexpired. A membership card will be issued on joining and must be produced when requested. Members are entitled to post on the club’s Website.

4) Avoid derogatory remarks about fellow forum participants or
Websites
5) If you have a problem with other Website users, discuss the
issue off forum
6) Remember your Website has a Public Face, your Club’s
Image will be judged by it
7) Use expletives to avoid the full spelling of swear words that
may cause offence
7) Use emoticons when posting, it helps to indicate tone and
communicate the poster’s intention
